Do you know who you are, really deep-down, total self-knowledge and self-acceptance? Most of us don’t or we at least need to work on ourselves to gain this depth.
Why is it important? Very good question!
When you really know who you are and are honest with yourself you genuinely know your strong and weak points, you understand your thought processes and reactions.
You are better able to be objective and see potential challenges and issues as well as solutions and improved results. You can analyse and adjust what you are doing to bring in the best life and working environment for you. You know what it is best to delegate. You are able to track the reasons for stress, anxiety and lack of energy.
When we really know, we can source and release far more energy and laser focus as we don’t have unconscious dislikes or unease about certain things holding us back.
Problems and challenges, both personal and professional, become much easier to handle, and, our mental attitude in managing them is more positive as well as less distracted or impacted by the stress of it.
Not only does our own performance, efficiency and creativity improve greatly but our positivity and self-confidence increase.
Now what does this mean in our personal and family relationships? They are warmer, more caring, greater understanding – and with life, laughs, fun and spontaneity closer to the surface. What a boon!
Professionally? This also has a beneficial effect on our co-workers and the whole working environment. When people feel your enthusiasm and your support and genuine interest it sparks their own optimism and feel-good factors – think how productive an impact this has particularly for energy, creativity, positivity and results…
In a nutshell, good begets good in all aspects!
Now don’t you want to get to know yourself better?
